  • Using Procreate allows for further collaboration and customization, adding personal touches to the AI-generated artwork.

Collaboration with AI

In this tutorial, I collaborated with AI to create a unique piece of artwork featuring a magical school bus. Using the AI tool Midjourney, I was able to generate different outputs of the school bus and background that I could work with in Procreate.

Once I imported the bus and background into Procreate, I used various tools to modify and enhance the elements. For example, I used the Eraser tool to remove the background of the bus and the Warp tool to distort the bus to create a more dramatic effect. I also used the Light Pen brush to add illumination to certain areas of the bus and background.

One of the most exciting aspects of collaborating with AI is the ability to add my own creative touch to the artwork. For instance, I used a Harry Potter font to add the name “Nimbus” to the bus and added white flares to certain lights to make them shine brighter.

Overall, collaborating with AI allowed me to create a unique and magical piece of artwork that I could not have achieved on my own. It was a fun and creative process that allowed me to experiment with different tools and techniques in Procreate.

Inspiration

When I set out to create a sticker for our school bus, Nimbus, I wanted to make it unique and magical. I had the idea of making the school bus look like a floating car, reminiscent of the flying car scene from Harry Potter. To bring this idea to life, I turned to create AI art in Midjourney.

I described my vision to Midjourney and it provided me with four outputs that I could work with. I picked the one that I liked the most and went through a few variations to get the perfect bus for my sticker. Once I had the bus, I went to work on the background. I wanted a magical starry night sky and found the perfect one on Midjourney.

Collaborating with AI was a fun experience as I was able to add my own elements to the artwork, making it unique. I used the light pen brush to add more magic to the background and added lights to the bus to make it look like it was on. I also used a Harry Potter font to add the name Nimbus to the bus.

Overall, collaborating with AI allowed me to create a unique and magical sticker for our school bus. The possibilities are endless when it comes to working with AI art, and I can’t wait to see what else I can create.

Creating the School Bus Image

To create the school bus image, I collaborated with AI using Midjourney. The inspiration for this tutorial was to create a magical type school bus that’s kind of like coming in for a landing. So, I uploaded a picture of our school bus and copied the message link. Then, I described the rest of what I wanted and it gave me four outputs which were pretty good.

Next, I prompted with this link and the styling I use in my branding to create the bus I wanted.

Then, I brought in the bus itself and removed the background using the Eraser tool. I matched the colors of the bus and removed the window with some light behind it and also removed the light that was on the window. After that, I added a layer and used the light pen to make the lights look like they were on.

To get the name up there, I colored the name and duplicated it. Then, I put that on top of the bus by moving it in the layers. To fix the Nimbus on the top of the bus, I moved the layer that I drew the lettering on and colored it black.

Finally, I went ahead and made more stars and put little white flares on some of the lights to make it a little bit shinier. Overall, the collaboration with AI was super fun and I was able to put in elements and special features that I liked to make the artwork pop a little bit and be more unique.

Creating the Background Image

To create the background image for our collaboration with AI project, I used Midjourney’s AI art generator. I wanted a magical starry night sky as the background for our school bus using my ‘styling prompt’ I created for my brand, so I described my vision and selected the fourth option that Midourney provided.

Once I had the background, I used Procreate to enhance it further. I used the light pen brush to increase the brightness of the moons, stars, and planets. I also used the brush to create a glow around them, giving the image a more magical feel.

To add more depth and dimension to the image, I used the warp tool to distort the school bus and create a shadow using the airbrush tool. I then added more stars using the glimmer feature in the luminance section of Procreate.

Overall, the collaboration with AI and Procreate allowed me to create a unique and magical image for our school bus sticker. By combining the AI-generated background with my own creativity and artistic skills, I was able to create a one-of-a-kind image that perfectly captures the essence of our school bus, Nimbus.

Collaboration in Procreate

Once I had the images I wanted to collaborate in Procreate to create unique and magical artwork. The process involves working with the AI-generated art from Midjourney and adding your own elements to make the artwork more unique and stand out.

To begin, I imported the AI-generated background and bus into Procreate. I then used the Eraser tool to remove the background from the bus and added my own elements to the artwork, such as Harry Potter-inspired lettering and lights.

One of the most exciting aspects of collaborating with AI in Procreate is the ability to add your own personal touch to the artwork. For example, I used the light pen brush to add a glow to the stars and planets in the background, making them look more magical and vibrant.

I also used the Warp tool to distort the bus and give it a more dramatic appearance. This added character and interest to the artwork, making it stand out even more.

Overall, collaborating with AI in Procreate is a fun and creative way to make unique and eye-catching artwork. By adding your own personal touch to the AI-generated art, you can create something truly special and one-of-a-kind.

Adding Lighting Effects

To make the artwork more magical, I added lighting effects using the Light Pen brush in Procreate. I traced over the edges of the trees and increased the light and shadows to give them a more mystical appearance. I also increased the brightness of the mountains to make them stand out more.

Next, I added lights to the bus using the Light Pen brush in orange. I made sure to make the lights look like they were turned on. I also created a shadow using the Airbrush tool to give the bus more depth.

To add the name “Nimbus” to the bus, I colored it black and used the Distort tool to make it look like it was facing the right direction. I also added little white flares on some of the lights to make them look shinier.

Finally, I added more stars to the background and used the Glimmer effect in the Luminance section to create a more magical appearance. Overall, the lighting effects helped to make the artwork more unique and captivating.

Adding the Nimbus Lettering

To add the Nimbus lettering to the bus, I first found the Harry Potter font I wanted to use and took a screenshot of it. Then, I lowered the opacity and traced over the letters with green using the syrup brush. I chose green because it contrasted well with the black letters and was easy to see.

Next, I removed the background of the bus using the eraser tool and matched the colors of the lights and windows to make them look the way I wanted. I also used the light pen brush to make the lights on the bus look like they were turned on.

To add the lettering to the bus, I duplicated the layer with the lettering and colored it black. Then, I scaled it to the right size and tilted it to match the angle of the bus. I used the distort tool to make it look like it was facing the right direction on the front of the bus.

Finally, I used the light pen brush to make the top window of the bus look like it was illuminated with text, similar to the destination signs on buses in cities. Overall, adding the Nimbus lettering was a fun and creative process that allowed me to collaborate with AI to make a unique and magical sticker for our school bus.

Final Touches

With the bus and the background merged together, it’s time to add the final touches to make the artwork really pop. First, I added some more stars to the background to make it look even more magical. Using the luminance section, I used the glimmer tool to make the stars twinkle and shine.

Next, I went around and added little white flares to some of the lights on the bus to make them look even shinier. This was easy to do with the luminance section as well. I also added some more details to the front of the bus, including illuminated text on the top window and more stars in the sky.

Finally, I played around with the colors and saturation levels to make the artwork look just right. I wanted it to be vibrant and eye-catching, but not too overwhelming. With a few adjustments, I was able to achieve the perfect balance.

Overall, collabing with AI was a fun and rewarding experience. By combining AI-generated art with my own creativity and skills in Procreate, I was able to create a truly unique piece of artwork that I’m proud to display on my school bus.
